    There are hundreds of WordPress themes which are easy to use as well as SEO optimized. Theme depends on your need and niche. Personally I recommend Thesis and Genesis for simple blogs, for photoblog or video-blog you have to do some research.

    The default WordPress theme Twenty twelve is awesome, it's a minimal as well as can be customized easily so I prefer it as a best free WordPress theme.
